**Dandies are now a GMO-free
product!**
Dandies are an air puffed campfire style vegan marshmallow,
completely free of animal-based gelatin! These light and fluffy
Dandies melt just like regular non-vegan marshmallows and are made
on dedicated vegan equipment, so they’re absolutely free from any
animal products. Dandies are great in any application you would
normally use a marshmallow for - S'mores, hot cocoa or just popping
one your mouth as a snack. They make crisped rice treats just like
the real ones, so you can have a batch of those tasty snacks any
time you get the urge to bake up a batch. Heck, they even catch
fire just like traditional non-vegan marshmallows, so they’re great
for roasting, too! Dandies really are that delicious, so if you
miss the flavor and texture of classic non-vegan marshmallows,
they’ll give you just what you’re after. They're also Kosher &
gluten-free, too! 10 oz. bag is $5.29.

Perfect Marshmallows!
From Melissa of Westborough, Massachusetts on .
Better than traditional marshmallows!
The Perfect Marshmallow
From Emily Mitchell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama on .
These are the best. Perfect taste and texture. Love these! I will be ordering these again - frequently.
Wonderful...just want them bigger!
From J.Harrison of Glenview, Illinois on .
These are fantastic -- the taste and texture are excellent, and they roast up perfectly on a camp fire. The only improvement I could see would be making them bigger. My kids aren't vegan yet, and have had "normal" marshmallows, and they love these just as much -- no indication that they noticed a difference, or were disappointed in these. I'm overjoyed to finally have marshmallow treats again!
Better than "real" marshamallows!!
From Anonymous of Bay City, Michigan on .
I got these marshmallows at a vegan expo this past weekend, and after tasting a sample, i couldn't stop myself from buying two bags. One of which I had to give to my best friend so she could share in the joy :)
WONDERFUL.
From Kelly Sue of Little Rock, Arkansas on .
BETTER than real marshmallows, imo! Even my non-vegan friends love them. I can eat a handful as a snack, and not get ill like I did when I ate regular marshmallows. I like the texture better than the real thing, as well.
Very sweet!
From Nikki of Mission Viejo, California on .
I love these marshmallows, they are sweet, but not too sweet! They do not taste like "real" marshmallows - they taste way better! They do not really melt but I like to eat them as a sweet snack after dinner.
No good. Don't melt in your hot chocolate.
From Amanda of Tewksbury, Massachusetts on .
I bought these for hot chocolate. They are too big for hot chocolate, too small for a S'more. They have a weird consistency and taste too much of vanilla. They don't melt in your hot chocolate. No good.
Good, but not "just like the real ones"
From Scott Wardzinski of Fargo, North Dakota on .
I made puffed rice treats with there. While they did melt smoothly, they were not as liquid once melted as traditional marshmallows and it took some time and effort to fold int he puffed rice.
However, the extra work was worth it as they did taste better that ones made with trasitional marshmallows.
Amazing
From katie of Melbourne, Australia on .
These are amazing. Genuinely nicer than non-vegan marshmallows - they're soft, fluffy, and totally delicious.
smaller than pictured
From Anonymous of Hartford, Connecticut on .
Be careful! These marshmallows are smaller than pictured. They are mini-marshmellows - not suitable for toasting as described.
small, but delish
From Syd Johnson of Houghton, Michigan on .
My daughter had her very first toasted marhmallow (in our fireplace) last week. She was in heaven. Dandies are superb, with the taste and texture of the "real" thing. They toast up perfectly in a fire. They are pretty small (more like mini marshmallows than regular ones), but they taste oh so good!
If they would just make them bigger
From Saeljuisja of Plymouth, Maine on .
Very good. Just too small to really roast them.
yum yum!
From Mad of Baltimore, Maryland on .
I haven't tried Sweet and Sara marshmallows yet, but these are wonderful! I just had them for the first time tonight and the texture and taste seem pretty much the same as the marshmallows I grew up with. They taste great with So Delicious Mint Chocolate Coconut Milk (just my opinion).
smaller than expected
From Heather of Chapel Hill, North Carolina on .
These are good. they taste just like non vegan marshmallows, just a little gritty/grainy. The biggest problem (if you are wanting campfire sized marshmallows for smores or whatever) is that they're only slightly larger than traditional mini marshmallows.. so pretty small. Overall I prefer sweet and sara's but these are a better price.
best vegetarian marshmallows!
From Britt of Somerset, New Jersey on .
These are the best vegetarian marshmallows I've had. They taste terrific!
Eh...
From Anonymous of Northampton, Massachusetts on .
Too dense. Will not roast correctly. Extremely little. Not campfire material. Good for rice krispy treats, but melt very slowly. These are expensive and high-maintenance marshmallows.
Love this!
From Michaelene Geiser of Massena, New York on .
Sheer heaven! Addictive! Even my non-veg husband loves them! Thanks, Chicago Soy Dairy, and Vegan Essentials!
Hot chocolate!!
From Anonymous of Laurel, Maryland on .
These are AWESOME! Don't hesitate to buy. My (completely not vegan) brother tried one and he said that there is no point in buying non-vegan ones when you have these ones.
A little "thicker" but just as tasty!
From Elizabeth Clark of Ingleside, Illinois on .
They taste great! They have a bit of a "thicker" consistancy but it tastes just as great as normal marshmallows. =D
DElicious!!!
From Anonymous of Orlando, Florida on .
These are SO delicious. Exactly like regular marshmallows. Sweet, vanilla-y, they go great in everything marshmallows go in. Thanks Chigaco soydairy, for making these!!!!
Just like regular marshmallows!
From Anonymous of Chicago, Illinois on .
These remind exactly of regular marshmallows. The texture is almost exactly the same, and they taste similar too (these are a little sweeter, which I like). They are a bit small, but that's no big deal. I personally prefer the Sweet and Sara brand a little bit, but these are more similar to the real thing. If you're looking for a vegan marshmallow that's as similar to regular marshmallows as possible, this is your best choice.
Perfect!
From Tobias of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania on .
It's been over a year since I've had "regular" marshmallows. These are exactly as I remember the gelatin kind tasting- amazing! A little small, though, so S'mores are going to be interesting.
great to snack on
From Anonymous of Raleigh, North Carolina on .
These are just like the ones from my childhood, airy, sweet, and easy to bake with.
Yummy goodness!
From Anonymous of San Diego, California on .
These marshmallows are so yummy! Dandies are smaller(they are mini sized) but taste just like the real deal!
I prefer Dandies over Sweet & Sara(which taste okay)but has a gooey texture and doesn't taste like a marshmallow to me.
Dandies are really addicting (if your into sweets) I can't wait to make some smores!
OMG SO GOOD
From Anonymous of Washington, District of Columbia on .
These are great and taste perfectly marshmallow-y to me! They didn't melt at all in shipping (in this hot summer). They only thing I wish is that they had a larger-sized variety for easier s'mores. No big deal, just pop three of these on!
delish
From campfire ready of carson, California on .
These are sooo deeeelish! They taste like the non-vegan ones but better! I am so excited to make s'mores this summer
Awesome!
From Anonymous of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania on .
These ROCK! I'm the only vegetarian in my family, but everybody likes these. They are great in s'mores and AWESOME in rice crispy treats. They keep well over in the closet for a long time.
Amazing
From Anonymous of Syracuse, New York on .
perfectly fluffy and sweet
These ROCK!!!
From Cookiegirlxoxo of Tequesta, Florida on .
FINALLY!!!.....I've been a vegetarian since I was a child. I've waited 30 years for somebody to create a vegan marshamallow that is not sticky amd chewy and dense. Dandies hit it right on!
Not your mom's marshmallows
From Catherine Piekos of Somewhere, New Mexico on .
Tried making a recipe for peanut butter rice krispy treats with these marshmallows and they were difficult at best to melt, and never really become fluid enough to evenly mix through the cereal. Tasty--absolutely! Just beware when cooking with these as they are tricky to deal with.
Heavenly!!
From Arwen of Tokyo, Japan on .
Oh, man these are AMAZING!! I carried a few bags in my checked luggage and they were so so good! They didn't melt and kept for a few months in the fridge. They are not as syrupy sweet as other brands and they grill nicely, too!
Chicago Soydairy nailed this one!!
AWESOME!!!
From JeMe of Lowell, Massachusetts on .
Soooo glad I tried these! They are going to be awesome for the summer!!!!
DELISH!
From Lisa of State College, Pennsylvania on .
OMG I LOVE THESE BABIES!!!!
As far as I am concerned, these are the best marshmallows I have had so far, so soft and smooth and not negative taste, almost melt in your mouth. I bought to use for one thing and have accidently eaten half the bag when I wanted to just try one.
Oh So Good!
From Sonya of Atlanta, Georgia on .
I was a bit skeptical when I saw these. years ago I tried a bag of veg marshmellows and they were some what like styrofoam. Dandies has taken that memmory and given we something to be happy about again. you can sit and eat the whole bag. I had to hide them from my family at the back of the frig. Once found they disappeared the same day. OH SO GOOD!!
It's like a "real" marshmallow!!!
From Jennifer Milton of Sedro Woolley, Washington on .
FINALLY!!!! The "real" (non-vegetarian) marshmallow has met its match!! I had relied on Sweet N Sara marshmallows to curb my summertime craving for roasted marshmallows - but found they aren't great for just eating out of the box.
THESE are amazing! Soft and fluffy like a regular marshmallow - haven't tried them roasted yet, but I'm sure they'll be great. I can tell by the texture that these will melt well in hot cocoa and basically be completely interchangeable with the "real" deal.
I put one in my mouth yesterday and just sucked on it - like I used to do with Peeps candies. They actually give you that sugary-creamy feel and disolve just like a marshmallow should!!!
FINALLY! YES! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEEEEEASE don't let these go away... EVER!
Great Vegan Marshmallow!
From David Schenck of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on .
These taste exactly like gelatin based marshmallows! They are smaller, and a little denser - but a great analog. They toast well and even catch fire!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
From Susan Bair of Mentor, Ohio on .
I cannot believe how awesome these are. Mmmmmmm
WHAT ARE THESE WONDERFUL MORSELS?!
From Anonymous of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on .
These vegan marshmallows are AMAZING! Would have to say, for roasting, they could be a bit bigger, but they are totally do-able! My neice and nephew were over last night and we're all veggie- had a grand ole' time making s'mores..They LOVED them! I have been making rice krispie treats with these for some time and just went through my last bag- on here like a junkie buying more! thankssss for carrying such a great product!! :-)))
Best Vegan Marshmallows!
From Julie of Titusville, Florida on .
These are my FAVORITE vegan marshmallows! Taste more like regular marshmallows than Sweet and Sarah. Toast just like regular marshmallows on an open fire! A vegan's dream come true!
Wow!
From PhiltheCat of Hallowell, Maine on .
Okay, so not only was I bowled over (I hadn't had a marshmallow in more than a decade -- nearly two), but my omnivore boyfriend declared last night (after finishing the second bag and a series of wintery cocoa nights), "These are WAY better than normal marshmallows!" (emphasis his). Digging for details, I got him to explain that the texture was amazing, the flavor delicious, and the sugary sweetness just right -- all around, perfect. This coming from a guy who is (perhaps too) proud of his marshmallow expertise. Next test: S'mores; then, melting them on candied yams -- I'll have him converted by Christmas!
HELL YEAH
From Anonymous of Massena, New York on .
Made rice krispies with it and it was some of the best me AND my non-vegan friends have ever had!
Delicious!
From jeanette of Toledo, Ohio on .
Best. Vegan. Marshmallows. Ever. I love these. Yes, it's a bit pricey for marshmallows, but totally worth it for the occasional treat and it's great to have something I can take camping. Love these!
Yummy!!
From MH of Edmonton, Alberta on .
I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't taste them for myself, but these really are perfect! I melted them for Rice Krispie Squares and it's pretty tough to tell the difference. My non-veg sister also proclaimed them yummy!
Great Product
From Susielol of Los Angeles County, California on .
Good size. Perfectly caramelize over a flame and soften on the inside just like the gelatin ones! Perfect for all your marshmallow recipes!
delicious!
From caity of london, England on .
its been years since i've eaten marshmallows as i've never been able to find vegan friendly ones. these taste as good and have the same texture as i remember normal marshmallows having and are perfect toasted or melted in hot chocolate!
buy 'em. buy 'em now.
From Giz of Doylestown, Pennsylvania on .
Took them on a camping trip this past summer and they did fabulously in the way of the s'mores. Buying more now for the holidays and an upcoming cabin camping trip. :)
These are awesome
From Anonymous of Marlton, New Jersey on .
These taste and feel like regular old marshmallows. Yes, they are a little small, but who cares. I made rice crispy treats with them yesterday and they are fabulous. I'm ordering more now.
So good!
From Joy of Jackson, Mississippi on .
These are so good. So tender and not at all grainy like some vegan marshmallows I'd tried in the past.
I bought these along with some Sweet and Sara's and I'd have to say that they are both delicious. I can't say one is especially better than the other, but they are different. Sweet and Sara's are sweeter and have more vanilla flavor, but the Dandies are the most tender and fluffy like "regular" marshmallows. Both are wonderful! You can't go wrong either way.
AMAZING
From Joy Stender of Houston, Texas on .
Never thought I would eat a marshmallow again, but these are AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Highly Highly Recommended
From Anonymous of Lewisville, Texas on .
We (my vegan boyfriend and myself) made rice crispy treats with these and they were amazing! We both highly recommend them to everyone!
Perfect for S'Mores!
From Anonymous of Chicago, Illinois on .
Light on fire and get all crispy roasty melty gooey just like the marshmallows from my childhood!
Wow - Just like Real Marshmallows - how did they do it?
From Brenda Marie of New York, New York on .
These are so much like real marshmallows - it is really amazing. I mean in taste and texture. If they were shaped like the real ones - no one would ever ever know the difference. I don't know how they did it - but they are way more like Marshmallows then Sweet and Sara's. Wow - you gotta try these.
Tasty, but not great for S'mores
From Anonymous of Plainview, New York on .
These taste great, but I tried to make S'mores over an open fire, and they don't toast like regular marshmallows.
Ultimate kid approval
From Anonymous of San Diego, California on .
My daughter has been a vegetarian from birth (as are we) - consequently, she was fixated on marshmallows, which she couldn't have. Dandies to the rescue -- they are exactly the same (minus the gelatin... and they cost a lot more). I keep a couple of bags in the freezer so when she needs a marshmallow, they're always there and always great. It's a rare treat (again because of the cost) but so worth it. And they roast perfectly (when the jonesing builds to smores-level). Always in stock in my house.
Incredible
From Anonymous of Newton, New Jersey on .
These marshmallows were the best ever. We took them camping with us and they toasted well just like the non vegan ones. I am buying more for the holidays.
Best I've Tried!
From Jenna Merrell of HALLSTEAD, Pennsylvania on .
These are the closest I've had to the real thing. Highly recommend just wish they were bigger.
Best marshmallows ever
From Nina Savidi of Athens, Greece on .
These are awesome and they re amazing when toasted! very yummy!
Not So Much
From Vegan4ever of San Diego, California on .
It looks like I'm on my own here, but no one in my family liked these at all. They had such a "crunchy" sugary consistency as well as an unappetizing after taste, we didn't make it through one bag. I would definitely recommend the alternative vegan mallow option. Bummer, we were so excited about these.
These are absolutely amazing!
From Anonymous of Columbus, Ohio on .
When I went vegan I lost hope that I would ever have a real marshmallow again, but these are nothing short of the real thing as far as flavor goes (although they're not as big as real ones).
BEST EVER!!!
From Anonymous of Detroit, Michigan on .
Best vegan Marshmallows EVER!!! They have the texture and taste right on! These are amazing!
Best Vegan Marshmallows Ever
From Elizabeth Bullock of Chicago, Illinois on .
Seriously. I've tried tons of marshmallows, trying to find the ones that make me happy, like when I was a gelatin-eating kid. This is the only one that comes close, and it's indistinguishable from the "real" thing. Well done!
Just like regular marshmallows!
From Marjorie Darby of Ajax, Ontario on .
I haven't had marshmallows in years, and what a treat to try them, after all that time!
They arrived just fine (via a cold shipper box), and are virtually indistinguishable from regular marshmallows, to me.
I might say they're a bit sugar-y, but I really like that. Each, individual 'mallow is smaller than the large, regular marshmallows and maybe two or three times the size of the mini-marshmallows sold in grocery stores.
I have, however, only eaten them as they are. I haven't tried melting them, or using them in hot chocolate or for baking.
I'm very happy to have marshmallows back in my life. ;-)
GREAT
From DIANE CALECA MCGEE of PARAMUS, New Jersey on .
These are great, it's been so long so I've had a marshmallow! Even my non-vegetarian kids prefer them to the "other" marshmallows. You can toast them over a flame and they are fantastic. I made yams with roasted marshmallow topping and my kids actually ate them and asked for more (before that they would not eat yams). I recommend them highly!
Even better than the real thing!
From lyncheroo of Edmonton, Alberta on .
Finally a vegetarian marshmallow that tastes wonderful. It was shipped super quick and we ate all four bags in 6 days. They roast well, worked perfectly in hot chocolate and smores!I highly recommend them to everyone. We've been searching for years for the perfect marshmallow, the search ends here. The price is well worth it, I'm buying another 4 bags right now. Hopefully they'll last long enough to take camping this summer. Excellent produce, thank you Dandies
omg!!! yes!!!!
From tess of ann arbor, Michigan on .
i made rice krispie treats with them!!! perfection!!! tastes like my childhood!
Wow!
From Anonymous of Montreal, Quebec on .
Excellent, virtually perfect marshmallows. We've been toasting them on skewers over the stove burners... Like a previous reviewer, we look forward to the giant campfire size - yes, Chicago Soy Dairy, that's a request.
Almost Perfect
From KM of Victoria, British Columbia on .
These are the marshmallows you remember from your childhood, but somehow even tastier. My one complaint is that they're a bit too small for roasting. They are, however, the perfect size for snacking and I ended up going through the bag ridiculously fast. I really hope Chicago Soydairy makes them in a jumbo campfire size soon!
they just arrived...
From KCM3 of Georgetown, Massachusetts on .
My 4 bags just arrived. They Are Small! People must be using awfully thin sticks to toast these!
I haven't tried them yet --I don't want to open them until our vacation next week.
I'm tempted to buy some Sweet & Sara ones for the larger size... ??
Haven't tried yet --waiting arrival
From KCM3 of Georgetown, Massachusetts on .
How do these compare by size to other marshmallows?
I'm hoping to have the kids toast them over a campfire ---they appear small...?
I just ordered them for a trip in a couple weeks. I'm wondering if I should buy bigger (like Sweet&Sara) ones?
OMG!!
From Melissa of Rye, New York on .
I cannot believe how good these are...I bought them to make rice crispie sqaures, but they are too good for that. They are light and a little spongy.....absolutly wonderful.
And they are much better than the sweet & sara ones
YUM YUM
From valerie of yerington, Nevada on .
So tasty :) Now my daughter doesn't feel left out at s'more time, and we get to share why we don't eat the 'other' kind :) Waiting for nutrition facts though, need to keep track of calories! :)
The perfect marshmallow - FINALLY!
From Jessica of Minneapolis, Minnesota on .
These marshmallows are unbelievably good! I have enjoyed Sweet & Sara marshmallows in the past, but they're kinda sticky & just not...quite right, you know? But Dandies are PERFECT! Seriously. You will not be able to tell a difference in texture or flavor from traditional gelatin-filled marshmallows! I can't wait to put these in cocoa, in brownies, in s'mores, and straight into my belly!
almost perfect
From Sara Moyers of Bakersfield, California on .
Fantastic in cocoa, great toasted, just a really good marshmallow.
love the taste but eat them quickly
From dawn of torrance, California on .
We got these when they first came out. The first bag was delicious! The only problem is that the second bag (which we were saving) is liquidy now. They can't be used for anything except rice krispy squares. Hopefully, they are okay to still use.
me want
From aj of ypsilanti, Michigan on .
get more in stock! i missed out on these again :(
Highly Recommended
From Sasha Black of Troy, Michigan on .
Incredible! LOOOVE THEM! Your meat eater friends will never know the difference!
I put one a piece in those brightly colored plastic Easter Eggs for my kids' for an Easter Egg Hunt. They said it was their favorite treat!
Tasty
From Lori of Portland, Oregon on .
Friend had some of these. Pretty yummy in vegan s'mores. :-).
Heaven !
From Anonymous of San Jose, California on .
I almost cried when I took the first bite of one of these little gems! They are fantastic! They taste just like the old gelatin ones. Soft and airy, and they melt perfectly on top of my sweet potatoes. FINALLY, a soft, meltable marshmallow that melts in your mouth!
OMG! DELICIOUS :)
From Anonymous of Montreal, Quebec on .
These are SO yummy and taste just like I remember marshmallows tasting. I have just been eating them right out of the bag, but I can just imagine them in recipes...if I can save any til then ;)
Seriously amazing
From Jen of San Francisco, California on .
These really are amazingly close, if not indiscernible from the "real thing". You have to make s'mores, roast them on the stove top, eat them out of the bag, rocky road...do it, now. Or whenever they are back in stock.
Just like the real thing!!!
From April Marker-McClurg of Indianapolis, Indiana on .
These are WONDERFUL!!! My husband...who is not vegan says they taste just like the real ones..and he is picky when it comes to vegan food.
They even melt like real marshmallows!! I made s'mores with them last weekend!!!!
They are small, probably 3=1 regular large marshmallow...but who cares they are wonderful!!
Perfect!
From veganjen of Joliet, Illinois on .
Great job on these marshmallows, Chicago Soy Dairy! They are what I've been waiting for! Perfect for rice krispy treats, roasting for s'mores, or eating straight out of the bag. Yay.
No difference to the real things
From Siobhán of Dublin, Ireland on .
I'm not a veggie, but my husband is. Both of us love marshmallows. Until recently, vegan alternatives were too chewy, or too vanilla-y, or too sweet... these are practically the same thing as the gelatine equivalents, and I should know, I eat those ones! AMAZING. They taste fabulous, the texture is spot on, they melt in hot choc properly, they crisp nicely. Only (really minor) criticism - more a personal preference - is that they could be a bigger sized, but they're fab, fab, fab...
Amazingness!!!
From brnmsc37 of State College, Pennsylvania on .
Oh. my. goodness. I was expecting good marshmallows (as they come from Chicago Soy Dairy), but I was not expecting the absolute amazingness of these. They taste just like non-vegan marshmallows and work extremely well in rice-crispie treats. Simply awesome.
Oh, wow!
From Danielle Kichler of Washington, District of Columbia on .
Remember the puffed marshmallows you got at the grocery store before you went veg? Remember the way they felt when you pressed them between your fingers and the gooshy feel and yummy chewiness? Remember all the good things about nonvegetarian marshmallows that you've missed since going vegan? Yeah, it's like that.
Chicago Soy Dairy has made an almost perfect approximation of the marshmallows you remember, but without the nasty gelatin in conventional marshmallows. About half the size of conventional marshmallows, these are a treat, and must...not...eat...the...whole...thing...at...once.
They're a little expensive, but it is well worth the price. There are two things I would love to see them do, however: 1) make the bag reclosable for those of us who do have self-control and 2) make miniature marshmallows come winter so we can toss some into our vegan hot cocoa.
No reason not to go vegan now!
From VeganXpress of Minneapolis, Minnesota on .
These are amazing! Chicago Soy Dairy rocks and this is their best product yet. Perfect in every way. Thanks!
KILLER!
From emily berna of Evanston, Illinois on .
first marshmallow i've had in 5 years and it is amazing. this is THE best vegan version of a non vegan food ever. i'm serious. EVER. i made rice krispy treats and they're amazing, too. amazing.
Welcome back, Marshmallows! Will need to set aside a marshmallow budget 'cause I can't live without!
From Anonymous of Seattle, Washington on .
Sooo good, I went through the whole bag after opening it. Saddly, although I had the forsight to get a 2nd bag, my dogs liked them enough to LEARN HOW TO OPEN THE PANTRY. If thats not a sign of motivating tastiness, I don't know what is!
Just like the real thing!
From Heather DeHann of CBS, Newfoundland on .
I got my Dandies marshmallows in the mail today, and there's now only 3 left. They are slightly smaller than normal marshmallows, but they taste just the same as their gelatinous counterparts! The even make you sick if you eat too many, like normal marshmallows! I didn't get a chance to make anything with them, but they seem like they'd do the trick. Deeeelicious!
if you want vegan marshmallows, just get them now
From Anonymous of Urbana, Illinois on .
These are likely as close as you'll ever get to a perfect vegan marshmallow. So yummy! I love them straight, or used as a direct substitute for anything that calls for regular marshmallows. I am so glad someone finally figured it out! Get these, you will not be disappointed.
gods, i've missed marshmallows
From jkatj of chicago, Illinois on .
One of the few things I've missed in the 15 or so years I've been a vegetarian has been marshmallows. But no longer. While a little different in shape and size than regular marshmallows, one squishy chewy taste will have you hooked. Worth every penny of the price.
Amazingly delicious...now, if only they were organic.....
From Very Vegan of Chicago, Illinois on .
They would be the most perfect food ever tasted. So like a pig bone/horse hoof marshmallow, without the disgusting gelatin. They even burn, wow! Give me more please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
flaming good stuff
From kPepper of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on .
So amazing. They really are like I remember, but so much better. Soft, sweet, and oh-so-good when crisped over a flame. Even oh-so-good straight out of the bag!
The only thing that could make them better would be if they came with a campfire.
Insanely Good!
From Anonymous of Los Angeles, California on .
It is amazing how good these marshmallows are! They puff in the microwave and taste great as a s'more. From my very first bite, I felt like I was eating a marshmallow from my youth. I hope these stick around for a very long time.
Soooooo Good!!!!
From Anonymous of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania on .
Good grief, these are absolutely delicious and well worth the price! They are smallish, somewhere between a standard marshmallow and a mini marshmallow, but you get a fair amount in the bag and the texture and taste is just like the real deal, not sticky or sugary like other veggie marshmallows. Thank you Chicago Soydairy!
The Best Thing I Have Ever Eaten!
From Brian Winegard of New York, New York on .
Seriously. These taste better than the jet puffed marshmallows you remember. They are light and fluffy and I tried them in every marshmallow type thing I could think of and they exceeded all expectations. They make great s'mores, incredible rice krispies treats, and they are amazing in cocoa. They even roast over a fire!
I have no idea what the reviewer who said they taste like soy protein is talking about (???), they taste like MARSHMALLOW. Light, delicious marshmallow. I can't wait to eat some more.
these are the marshmallows you remember:
From Robyn of Somerset, New Jersey on .
Besides their shape, no one would be able to tell these aren't the old jet-puff marshmallows you remember eating before you realized what was in them.
Yummy. Puff well over the firepit!
From Mark R of Novi, Michigan on .
Taste good right out of the bag and puff up really big if you toast them *slowly* over the firepit. My kids love them.
A TRUE MARSHMALLOW!!!! AMAZING!!
From Anonymous of Bradenton, Florida on .
This is truly an amazing marshmallow. I have tried all the
vegan ones and this is the first one that reminds of when I was little. It is a joy to eat! Light and fluffy.....ahhh childhood memories.
Pretty good but..
From Courtney of madison, Wisconsin on .
I thought the texture of these marshmallows was great, just like i remember. The marshmallows did however have a faint but noticeable flavor of soy protein which was somewhat of a turnoff.
A must!!!!
From Anonymous of Chicago, Illinois on .
So delicious! Melts and taste just like I remember.
The best marshmallows I've tasted
From Cassandra Jackson of Phoenix, Arizona on .
These are the best marshmallows, vegan or otherwise. Unlike other vegan marshmallows on the market- they are puffy and delicious just like the kind I remember before becoming vegan.
I love them in hot chocolate or s'mores and they make amazing rice crispie treats that taste just like the original ones! Endless possibilities!
Can't wait!!!!!
From Anonymous of Los Angeles, California on .
Tried a sample at the Expo West, kept going back to sneak more when they weren't looking :) :) :)
BEST VEGAN MARSHMALLOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, CHICAGO SOYDAIRY!!!!!!!!!
