Worked for me
From Jennifer Esposito of Woodstock Valley, Connecticut on 8/23/2014.
Up until about March 2014 I've NEVER been anemic (either as a lacto-ovo or vegan and I've not eaten meat since 1992). However, due to an underlying medical condition I was advised to take an iron supplement. When I showed the doctor the bottle he said I'd have to take 6 a day for it to do anything. Well, I only took one a day with my evening meal and my June blood work showed my iron level to be normal. These tablets are small and easy to swallow.

works great, doesn't bother your stomach if you take it after a meal
Calcium at low doses does not inhibit iron absorption
From Matt Skylar of Toronto, Ontario on 6/2/2009.
Studies showing calcium interfering with iron absorption were done at 300mg+ per serving. I take this product and have called Freeda, and they said that the calcium content is only a few mg total in the tablet formulation and won't interfere at such a low dose. No need to worry about it blocking iron intake with so little calcium added to it.
From Anthony of Monroe, New Jersey on 5/29/2009.
I would not purchase this product as it contains calcium which inhibits the absorption of the iron.
