The refried beans tasted more like taco filling than refried beans.

Dehydrated refried beans are almost impossible to find, and are certainly not sold in regular grocery stores. For those of you who have sampled dehy refried beans in jail/prison you've probably been looking for them. And for those who have heard, dehydrated refried beans go excellently in "spread" which is amazingly good regardless of it's surprising concoction.

IF YOU PLAN ON THE WORLD FAMOUS BWCA BREAKFAST BURRITO YOU DEFINITELY NEED THESE. EXCELLENT FOR USE IN "NO CANS/BOTTLES" AREAS...AND THEY ARE TASTY TO SAY THE LEAST. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE PRICE I WOULD EAT THEM WITH ALL MY MEXICAN MEALS AT HOME. WITHOUT FULL KITCHEN SUPPLIES IN THE WILDERNESS THESE ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE PRODUCT!

For something that comes out of a box, these beans are really delicious! I didn't even have to add ingredients (and I always add!). These beans are great for quick vegan tacos. Speaking of which, I also highly recommend the Taco Filling by the same brand!
