I'm leery of this toothpaste.
From Amanda Erickson of Newcomb, Maryland on 8/25/2013.
Nature's Gate refuses to disclose the RDA (relative dentin abrasivity) of their toothpastes. I checked three dental charts and see that the Nature's Gate paste is high up on the abrasive value. Until they disclose, I feel they've got something to hide. If it's too abrasive, it can damage enamel pellicle.
Fresh Mouth, Clean Teeth
From Anonymous of Edmonton, Alberta on 1/23/2011.
I've tried a lot of different natural teeth cleaning options over the recent years (dozens) with varying success rates, and this one is hands down the best tasting. DH was extremely skeptical of my hunt for the right toothpaste, and he actually refused to participate after the neem tooth soap debacle, but he couldn't resist this one. He says it actually feels and tastes better than his previous favourite brand (he was a Colgate man).
Reactive Bad Taste
From Jen of Columbia, Maryland on 11/27/2010.
I started using this toothpaste about 1 month ago and have been experiencing a progressive condition of lingering bad taste in my mouth. Now food doesn't taste right and my throat reacts a bit if I brush with this - so I have stopped.I am healthy, organic, and have been surprised by this experience.
Best toothpaste ever!
From maude gagnon of Sherbrooke, Quebec on 9/6/2010.
I have been using this toothpaste for over 2 years now and i love it! My teeth used to hurt and I had stains from drinking coffee, I felt like I had to go see a dentist. But since I use this toothpaste, they don't hurt no more and the stains are gone! I just never got to go to the dentist and now I don't feel like I need to!!!
Best toothpaste I have ever used!
From Anonymous of Princeton, New Jersey on 12/14/2008.
I bought this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. It gives my mouth a feeling that's kinda like "squeaky clean," but even better. I've used other "alternative" (for lack of a better term) toothpastes before and wasn't really impressed, but this product totally blew me away.

Tube holds up well.

I started using this toothpaste a couple months ago. I just went to the dentist and she commented how pretty my teeth looked, "there are no stains whatsever!". It's thanks to this toothpaste, I've never received a compliment at the dentist's office before.
good, could be better
From Anonymous of houston, Texas on 8/31/2007.
this paste is pretty good...but it doesnt keep your breath fresh for as long as id like. thats the only gripe i have about it.
From kirstin of barnstaple, England on 7/23/2007.
I love this toothpaste. When I switched to natural cruelty free pastes, I missed the fresh minty-ness of "normal" pastes, and found a lot of natural ones either had an odd taste or weren't minty enough. This one is really fresh tasting and lasts better than others I've tried. It's the best toothpaste I've used, including conventional, and I have no intention of changing to another.
From Anonymous of Winter Park, Florida on 9/4/2006.
The flavor of this toothpaste is terrible! I don't know about that award-winning flavor they're talking about! I love the idea behind this toothpaste though, so I still use it. If you can find the Seafresh Co-Q10 GEL, (Whole Foods carries it), the flavor is much better than the paste.

I wouldn't buy anything else.
