heels collapse
From Anonymous of San Francisco, California on .
I've purchased about 5 pairs of these shoes over the years and after about 3 months of wear, the inside heel cushion collapses. I've stopped buying them for this reason.
Perfect for everything!
From Crusader of Palm Springs, California on .
I purchased a pair of these 4-5 years ago from VeganEssentials.com, but just getting a chance now to write a review.
I am thinking about buying a new pair soon because they are starting to show wear.
Of all the vegan (cruelty-free) shoes that I have purchased over the years, these are the most comfortable, best-fitting; excellent for walking or blending in as dress shoes for the rare times that I do anything "formal."
The black bottoms "might" mark up white tile floors; however, so I recommend taking them off and putting them on in the garage, on a porch, etc.
Very happy to see they are still for sale, which also means they are a popular item.
Comfortable But Not Very Durable
From Joel of Lowell, Massachusetts on .
Very, very comfortable, and I felt comfortable wearing them almost anywhere, even to more casual night clubs that might not have allowed sneakers normally (in the dark they look like shoes shoes). I got complements on them.
These shoes lasted about 9 months of daily use before showing significant wear, after which they wore out really fast, the upper fraying and exposing the foam liner, and the soles wearing away severely. If you drive everywhere you'll probably get longer out of them, but for an East Coast urban lifestyle they don't last long.
Still, I will likely buy them again.
4 years and just wearing out now
From Skip of Houston, Texas on .
Worn daily for 4 years. The tops and soles are still good, but the ankle has worn out. I even wore these on my motorcycle and the shifter didn't leave a mark. I am going to buy another pair.
recommended, but
From Jennifer of boston, Massachusetts on .
Very comfortable, easy on/off. I got these shoes last winter & they endured well until I started noticing the material wearing off around the ankles, as well as inside/under the heel. The sole & uppers are very sturdy & look ne'er the wear, but alas the other parts... I'm not sure how much longer before I begin leaving fabric behind as I walk. Perhaps I've just worn in them really well.... For the cost I would've liked them (all parts of them) to have lasted a bit longer.
