Most people (including me) who chose a vegetarian or vegan diet do so for the animals... we don't want to see them suffer. But we haven't developed taste-bud amnesia. We still remember what bacon tastes like, and I certainly miss the recipes my German grandmom used to make: German potato salad, fried potatoes flavored with bacon, hot bacon dressing ... Magic vegan bacon grease is totally incredible and truly the product I needed to make my vegan life complete. Thank you, thank you!

Awe. Some. The first product I've used that does vegan bacon justice. By using it, not only does it make the bacon taste better, I was able to make it crispy without burning it. Can't wait to experiment more with it!

I have used it to enhance the flavor of soy bacon strips cooking them in the pan. Made a great bowl of Daiya "cheese" grits with "bacon" crumbles and just a bit of this grease in it.

So bacony!! I like to spread a dab of it on toast and then dip into some Vegg. It is coconut oil, so it is very temperature finicky. It kept liquifying in the cupboard and all the wonderful crystals would settle at the bottom. (it is Summer now) Kept in the fridge, it solidified into a granite block. Couldn't really find a happy medium. But I will so definitely order it again! Worth the price!
So, Where to Begin...

This stuff was surely sent from the vegan gods. I have used it to make vegan bacon popcorn, bacon cheddar sauce, baked potatoes... going to attempt cornbread soon. Now, seeing as it's coconut oil, it cannot be used at high temperatures, so don't try to use this for deep frying. Highly recommended.
