Much like real bacon, not too chemically.
Makes my salad great

No it's not bacon and I don't want it to be. But it adds a great little crunch and a delicious smokey taste that makes a plain salad delicious. Looking for bulk prices.
Very good flavor

This will be great in my green beans and other things I want that bacon flavor in. They are really good and will make my salads tasty as well!
Not Great At All

Very Strong Horrid Taste
At last!

British customers who remember the old “Smokey Snaps” made by Protoveg in the 1970s, 80s, will recognise this product type. This stuff is almost indistinguishable from Smokey Snaps, but with perhaps a slightly more “ham” smell than bacon. The jar seems expensive, but only a small amount is needed to give the whole kitchen that great, smoky aroma, so hard to reproduce in vegetarian cooking. I use them in a lot of savoury meals - wonderful in any pasta dish, for instance - and often start a meal by frying these bits with garlic.
