I found this pesto to be great with a tiny pinch of salt and vegan Parmesan style topping. It also makes great tapenade for homemade bread.

I found this pesto to be very mild, lacking in flavor and the texture to be paste-like. I like making my own pesto with thai sweet basil, Parmela Parmesan, olive oil and pine nuts. Someone on a low-sodium diet would probably like this.

This pesto is devine with spiral sliced squash or zucchini! Great base for lots of raw foods.
