This unique organic vegan pesto is made with mostly raw ingredients to make a rich, delicious spread that is exceptional on crackers or crunchy veggies, and is perfect in your favorite pastas and soups, too! The pistachio is the most nutrient-dense of all nuts, containing high quantities of B vitamins, potassium, and lutein. An antioxidant powerhouse, containing more cholesterol-lowering Phytosterols than any other nut (and more than a cup of green tea!) It’s delicious and nutritious, an essential for any kitchen where flavor counts. 8 oz. (226.8g) jar is $13.99.

Ingredients: Organic raw pistachios, organic sun dried tomatoes, organic sun dried black olives, organic raw sesame, Living Tree Alive raw organic unpressed olive oil, organic basil, organic rosemary, organic cayenne, organic garlic, salt

I found this pesto to be very mild, lacking in flavor and the texture to be paste-like. I like making my own pesto with thai sweet basil, Parmela Parmesan, olive oil and pine nuts. Someone on a low-sodium diet would probably like this.

This pesto is devine with spiral sliced squash or zucchini! Great base for lots of raw foods.
