Important Usage Note: To achieve the brightest color, we strongly
recommend that you bleach your hair before coloring (Bleach kits
are sold separately). You can use the color without bleaching, but
results will be lighter and much less brilliant.

Those two ingredients can be vegan, sometimes they're not, but I checked on this product years before VE stocked it and confirmed it was not of animal origin!

Mostly good- except "Blue Haired Freak"- pass on that one

The only color I don't recommend that I've tried is Blue Haired Freak- which is listed here under "new colors"- that one faded really fast, within a few washings. I highly recommend Blue Velvet, Nuclear Red & hi Octane Orange (listed in the other section of Special Effects) all last a long time! Used all 3 at various points on a longterm basis, Blue Velvet especially really lasts. Wear good gloves, it can stain hands pretty bad, but that means it stays well in hair. Only have to redo about every two months.
