Grown in the USA without pesticides or herbicides and carefully dried at low temperatures to retain lifeforce, enzymes and other heat-sensitive elements, Spirulina is an exceptional food and an incredible source of full-spectrum, non-toxic absorbable nutrients. As it is 60-65% protein, containing a whopping 9.8g per tablespoon, it is the world’s highest known source of complete protein and contains all eight essential amino acids. Spirulina provides high levels of B-12, natural plant-based non-toxic iron, vitamin A, carotenoids, B-1, B-2, B-6, as well as vitamins E and K. This spirulina powder is packaged in an amber glass bottle with a metal lid and oxygen absorber to preserve nutrient levels. Available in 5.25 oz. bottle for $17.99 and 16 oz. bottle for $39.99.

Ingredients: 100% pure spirulina powder

Suggested usage: Take 1-6 heaping tablespoons per day, either all at once or divided. Can be mixed with water, juice or smoothies, or sprinkled on or mixed in food.

Very high quality whole food spirulina powder. Of course it does not taste like candy out of the jar, but when blended with a banana, 1 part water and 2 parts apple juice, you get a high energy and very nutritious smoothie.

It is pretty gross tasting you have to get use to it.But if you mix it with fresh apple juice it'll be easier to swallow it down.

I couldn't decide whether the taste or smell was worse.
I've forced down Brewer's Yeast & BCAA, which are pretty awful tasting, but I couldn't even bring myself to swallow a shake with spirulina in it. After tasting it I couldn't open the jar without gagging at the smell. It smells and tastes like the bottom of a lake (go figure, right?).
So that was $40 into the trash.

Get spirulina in tablet form unless you have no sense of taste and smell.

This is fantastic! Our cats love it too!! We make a nice paste for them by mixing it with a bit of water. Our white cat creates a cute green beard when he licks himself afterwards.
