Very high quality whole food spirulina powder. Of course it does not taste like candy out of the jar, but when blended with a banana, 1 part water and 2 parts apple juice, you get a high energy and very nutritious smoothie.

It is pretty gross tasting you have to get use to it.But if you mix it with fresh apple juice it'll be easier to swallow it down.

I couldn't decide whether the taste or smell was worse.
I've forced down Brewer's Yeast & BCAA, which are pretty awful tasting, but I couldn't even bring myself to swallow a shake with spirulina in it. After tasting it I couldn't open the jar without gagging at the smell. It smells and tastes like the bottom of a lake (go figure, right?).
So that was $40 into the trash.
Get spirulina in tablet form unless you have no sense of taste and smell.
Great for all!

This is fantastic! Our cats love it too!! We make a nice paste for them by mixing it with a bit of water. Our white cat creates a cute green beard when he licks himself afterwards.
