Cannot legally be sold as a sweetener

Please note that, according to the FDA, it is illegal to sell stevia as a sweetener or food product. It must be sold as a dietary supplement only. I know that this is silly, but relating stevia to 'sugar' or recommending that it be used as a 'sweetener' is not legal and I don't want to see you guys get in trouble with the FDA. If you have any doubts, make an anonymous call to the FDA consumer hotline.

I love Stevia; a good alternative. But my daughter says that it tastes like metal. I suspect this is one of those foods that bio;ogical makeup affects taste. You can only tell by trying.
