Perfect for nourishing and undoing damage to
dry, chapped lips, this balm is also formulated to help heal cold
sores, fever blisters, minor cuts and scrapes and sunburn, too! As
with all Tate’s products, only natural ingredients are used and
this item was designed to be an excellent multi-purpose therapeutic
aid rather than just be a lip balm alone. Available in Natural
Unscented. 4.25g balm is $3.49.
Ingredients: Natural soy wax base, vitamin E,
aloe, safflower oil, jojoba oil
The best balm you can get
From Karen McCallister of Durham, North Carolina on 1/28/2014.
My husband and I are both big fans of this product so we buy multiples to avoid running out or having to fight over the last stick! The key to this balm's excellence is its balance: not too waxy, not too oily; not too soft, not too solid; the amount of peppermint is just right. I was in love with Durham, NC's own Burt's Bees minty balm for years, but Tate's is EVEN BETTER.

This is great lip balm--some of the best I have ever used. No unpleasant flavor, very moisturizing. I love it.
Best lip balm -- vegan or otherwise
From Fran of Chicago, Illinois on 10/31/2012.
I've tried many a lip balm over the years to keep my lips from cracking and bleeding at any time of year. This is far and away the best brand I've ever used, and that includes all of the non-vegan and petroleum-based lip balms out there. Unlike everything else I've tried, this is TRULY unscented, which is something I've always searched for, but never found. Additionally, it moisturizes wonderfully: After using this product for months, my lips are smoother and softer than they've been in years. I can't recommend this product enough, and I'm so glad it's vegan as well!
Great for Dry Skin, So-So for Lips
From Anonymous of Jtown, Arkansas on 6/21/2010.
I got this product mainly to use on my skin, it is great for dry skin but I didn't like using it on my lips very much, it's just too slick for the lips, imo. I think I'll just use this for my skin, and use something else on my lips.
From Julie Brydon of Duarte, California on 6/4/2010.
I've been trying to find a vegan lip balm for ages, but I have lips that chap like crazy if I use anything other that Lypsyl (which is not all natural or vegan - ick). This was the first vegan lip balm that actually worked for me. It has a pleasant texture (smooth but not waxy or greasy) and so far it seems to be doing the trick). I am going to order this one in bulk next time! I'm also curious to try the peppermint flavor :)
