gel nails

I took the Tates to my nail salon. I have Gel/shellac polish. My gal took a wad of cotton, put on the tates and wrapped them in foil. After about 10 mins, I could feel a burning. When she took off the foil and cotton, all my fingertips felt like they were burned. They are extremely dry now and I've tried everything to exfoliate the dry skin. Has anyone else had a reaction like this with foil?>
Worth the price and more

Wow. I usually don't gush about a particular product, but this stuff is absolutely amazing. Believe the hype/reviews. I'm glad I did. It only takes such a small amount to remove the polish from your fingers (even very dark shades) that the price is more than worth it. Sometimes cruelty-free and/or "natural" products don't work as well as their conventional counterparts, but this works better.
this product is a miracle

I cannot believe how effective this is. Removes nail polish quicker and better than any remover AND is cruelty free and all natural. Really quite amazing.
WOW!

Okay, so I had previously been using the "Almost Natural" nail polish remover also available here at Vegan Essentials, and it was...okay. It got the polish off, but I wasn't fond of the smell and it left my fingers very dry. There was a lot of rubbing involved to get the polish off, which was irritatingly squeaky...like nails on a chalkboard! I thought I'd try Tate's as a change of pace, and kind of just assumed that it would be a big bottle, since it was twice the price of the "Almost Natural" remover. Definitely my fault, because it's only a 5 oz bottle and says so right on the page. So I was shocked when I received this $14 bottle with 5 oz of polish remover in it, and then chagrined when I realized I just hadn't paid attention. So I thought, okay, let's at least see how well it does. And it is AMAZING. One cotton-round, with about one-half side of it soaked with Tate's, and it took off ALL of the polish - 2 coats of color and the clear bottom coat - with just a couple of swipes over each nail. And that one round - with no further applications of remover - got all the polish off of ALL of my fingers in one go. Outstanding! I've never used any non-vegan polish remover that worked better than this did! Best of all, it's truly odorless, and my fingers did not feel at all dry. This is an amazing product, and considering how sparingly it's going to be able to be used, well worth the price. Five stars!
Far better than Sally Hansen!

I can't believe how easily this gets off nail polish, and no odor! Works quicker and easier than Sally Hansen brand that I had been using.
