5 Stars!!
From Karen of Rincon, Georgia on .
Long lasting color! Lasted longer than when I have my hair done professionally..Covered grey very well. I am a medium brown (4N) but went with the 5N based on a previous comment that it colors darker..it does color darker.. Go one shade lighter.. Ordering for a second time right now!
Love this dye!
From Vanessa of Menasha, Wisconsin on .
Tints of Nature is the only hair dye in the entire world, believe me on that, I have tried them all, anyway, it actually makes my hair feel healthier! Amazing stuff, and the colors are terrific. I'm so thankful for this line.
Recommended for hair color allergies
From Laura L of Menlo Park, California on .
I developed an extensive scalp allergy to hair color. I have early graying and even extensive white hair in my 40's. (genetic) I really didn't know what I was going to do when I developed the severe itching and raised bumps that lasted for weeks. I did some research and understand that this allergy is cumulative and occurs in people who color their hair over a long period of time. It's caused by the chemicals in the hair dye. I tried several "natural" hair colors with no allergy improvement. I thought I'd try one more before going to henna or a wig. I really was astonished at the diminished allergy reaction (not totally gone, but only a problem for 2-4 days now and much less severe) and the softness and shine. The color does go on dark. I had read reviews about this, so I selected a lighter color than usual. I had my hairdresser carefully apply it. She left it on for 30 minutes. My hairdresser said that the color was much easier to wash off my scalp. I'm sure that helps reduce the allergy reaction. I also had a lot less breakage than usual. I only have one month of experience with this product, so I'll report back on the allergy after a few more months. Good luck to all.
Great color but tends to be darker
From Anonymous of Santa Monica, California on .
I think these colors tend to come out darker than the photos. I used the Rich Copper Brown to cover my gray roots and was trying not to get much else. While the color came out rich and pretty, it was much too dark for my coloring. I'll probably try the Dark Toffee Blonde next time hoping for light golden brown. I think the colors are good, but you might have to pick a shade lighter or experiment a little first. Or definitely do a sample first before doing your entire head.
