**NOTE** - The safety seal on this item is very fragile, and tends
to break off and stick inside the lid on most containers that are
shipped. If the package ends up flipped over in transit, most times
the weight of the chips will embed the white seal inside the red
lid, so as long as you see white inside the lid, there is a seal,
just that it would have come undone during shipping!
Ingredients: Sugar (non-bone char refined), partially
hydrogenated palm kernel oil, artificial colors (FD&C Yellow
no. 6, aluminum lake, Yellow no. 5 aluminum lake, FD&C Blue no.
2 aluminum lake), vanillin, salt, soy

Chips can melt in the summer heat, especially if your
destination area temperature is in the mid 80s or above when the
package takes more than a day or two in transit. We recommend
expedited 2nd Day Air shipping and/or the addition of a cold
shipper (offered below) for orders where you want to minimize the
risk of melted product, and that it is delivered where someone will
be there to accept the package at time of delivery (work address if

decent vegan alternative

These are a good vegan alternative, but I don't think they are as flavorful as non-vegan butterscotch chips. They taste more sugary than butterscotch like, and their flavor gets somewhat lost in cookies. I also wish they had better healthier ingredients. Still they are decent for vegans who miss butterscotch chips.

I love these. I made peanut butter marshmallow squares with them and they were excellent. I've also made butterscotch chip cookies with them too, which were also good.
