I've tried several types vegan jerky and this is one of the best. It has an authentic texture (not slimy. My favorite was the hickory pepper - the flavor was just right, not overwhelming or too peppery.

Certainly one of the better vegan jerkies I've tried, could have used a bit more of the teriyaki flavor though.

This jerky is delicious. I bought the hickory pepper flavor, and it's the closest you'll ever get to the "real thing" (but without the cruelty & weird animal parts).
The taste is great, and the texture is very (!!) chewy.
My omni friends loved it too.

I think this is as close as you are going to get to real jerky. The spices are spot-on, and the texture is fine. It's thin and chewy. (I had the hickory pepper one.)
