Such a let down. The first bad Earth Balance product I have ever tried. They do great at everything but this. GROSS!!!!
the white cheddar is much better

I LOVE the white cheddar mac and cheese. Not a big fan of the regular cheddar. So I only buy the white cheddar. It is a great side when I make vegan sausage with peppers and onion. At $2.99 a box at whole foods, the price is my only complaint.

If you are expecting this to taste like Kraft, you will be disappointed. However, I find it to be pretty good.I made my first box with almond milk and it tasted OK. I made my second - and all boxes since then - with soy creamer. It tasted so much better. Not like Kraft, but creamier. Using a little more vegan butter than called for helps, too. So, if you want it creamy, use soy creamer, not soy milk.

I bought this product as I am lactose intolerant and well, who doesn't love mac and cheese? I followed the instructions verbatim and when it came time to taste it the first thing I noticed was it's yucky smell -- both flavors had this smell -- and the taste was salty and not pleasant. I hate wasting but I could not bare to eat it and had to put it in my compost :( I will not be purchasing this product again.
Delicious in a nostalgic way

It is definitely worth it if you are looking for the taste/convenience of childhood mac and cheese from a box. The cheddar tastes like Daiya to me vs. Kraft, but it is yummy. The alfredo is cheesy and delicious as well.
