lightlife gimme lean vs. THIS
From angela petyko of cedar lake, Indiana on .
I actually preferred the taste of this to the other "sausage" (which I also enjoy). This one is slightly cheaper tho there is the little xtra step of adding water and letting it set for 15 min before using. However, it was easy for me to use just half the bag and store the other half for later. Made beautiful, tasty patties for my vegan breakfast sandwiches :) and my non-vegan in-laws gobbled it up (just in patty form) when I took them over for a family breakfast - THANKS!
Love it!

Great texture and taste. Recommend adding a little fennel seed and lighly salting patties.

I love it...a little expensive but a tablespoon fried with a little sesame or chili oil. Put on 1/2 piece of toast with sprouts cover with other 1/2 and a super breakfast. Yummy!
Excellent texture and good flavor, but a little bland

For me, it wasn't spicy enough to serve as stand-alone sausage, but if you're the kind of person who doesn't like spicy sausage anyway, then that shouldn't be a problem.
Otherwise, it's very good. Great texture and a light sausage flavor -- perfect for sauces, breakfast burritos, and other recipes that call for the presence of sausage.
Great product

Seasoned well. Made an awesome breakfast burrito. Goes well with Daiya cheese
