This delicious vegetable and grain protein is
very similar in texture and taste to ground beef. It can be patted
into veggie burgers, used as a veggie "meatloaf", or browned in a
skillet to use as a taco filling, in casseroles, or as we used it,
in an incredible Shepherd's Pie. Each large can contains 1 lb 4 oz
of burger and is $6.99. Kosher.
Ingredients: Textured vegetable protein (wheat
gluten, soy protein concentrate), water, modified corn starch,
soybean oil, contains 2% or less of hydrolyzed soy, corn and wheat
proteins, autolyzed yeast extract, salt, onion, caramel color
(veg), disodium inosinate, vitamins and minerals (niacinamide,
ferrous sulfate [iron], thiamine mononitrate [vitamin b1],
pyridoxine hydrochloride [vitamin b6], riboflavin [vitamin b2],

The taste and texture of the Burger Veggie Meat was so surprisingly good I will make sure to stock up on several cans in my pantry at all times. The versatility of the product allows for you to add it to any recipe. Yumm!! is the key word. And also it is also a healthy choice.

A lot of good stuff.
Very good

I used this to make a veggie bolognese and it was very good. If you are not someone who enjoys the texture of meat, this actually gets more "tight" and meat-like as it simmers.
