B-Fresh chewing gum is completely vegan, unlike most brands
of gum out there that contain animal derived bases or glazes. This
gum dramatically revolutionizes the breath-fresheners that are
commonly available, as most fresheners only mask the odor of bad
breath and don’t attack the cause directly. B-Fresh gum contains
xylitol and naturally alters the pH levels in your mouth so that it
eliminates bacteria that cause tooth decay, plaque and bad breath.
Made without sugar, salt or preservatives, this gum also contains
100% of the RDA for Vitamin B12 in each serving! Kosher, Soy-free
and gluten-free. Available in 5 flavors – Mixed Fruit, Bubble Gum,
Cool Spearmint, Lemon and Cinnamon. 12 pieces per package, except
for Bubble Gum flavor, which has 10 extra-large pieces per package.
Bubble Gum is $2.49 per pack, and all other flavors are $2.09 per
Ingredients: Xylitol, gum base, maltitol syrup,
natural flavor (spearmint oil, fruit flavor, cinnamon, or lemon oil
depending on flavor chosen), Vitamin B12, gum Arabic, carnauba wax,
calcium citrate, calcium gluconate
Doesn't last long

The flavor is good, but it's like cheap bubblegum, good for a couple chews then just really hard and flavorless. Glad for the cause but probably won't buy again.

I buy the bubblegum flavor. It's a good product - it's vegan, no aspartame. Nothing to rave about, otherwise.
I'm the only one who hated it.

I guess I'm weird about sweeteners, because I tried one piece of the spearmint flavor and had to give away the rest. I don't like artificial sweeteners; to me they all taste like saccharin, which is exactly what this was like--chewing on a big block of saccharin or aspertame. I'm obviously in the minority on this one.
Lemon and Mixed Fruit Flavors
From Anonymous of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 12/16/2009.
It's great that there is a natural and vegan gum with lots of xylitol, which is good for teeth and also prevents ear infections. (However, keep it away from dogs' reach, xylitol is toxic to dogs! There should really be a warning on the package since dogs like to run off with things and tear them open.) But I wish it did not also have maltitol, which is supposed to be packaged with a warning that too much consumption causes a laxative effect (this package is not labelled accordingly). I find it especially odd that the front of the package states "Sweetened with 100% Xylitol" when the ingredients contain maltitol as well. As for the flavor, I tried the lemon and the mixed fruit, the mixed fruit was good, like chiclets. The lemon tasted kind of furniture-polish-y, falsely sweet with a bitter undertone, rather than sour-sweet and lemonady like I'd hoped. If I order the large bottle I plan to go with fruit.

This gum is pretty good. I tried it in Mixed Fruit. The flavor lasts as long as most other types of gum. I will try the other flavors soon.
