Really good!

I’m honestly shocked by this. It tastes like a lighter, non-greasy, overly-salty canadian bacon. The edges got crispy in the pan with olive oil which I really liked.
Delicious

I fry these in a pan with a touch of olive oil. When crispy, I drizzle some maple syrup on them. Delicious on an english muffin with Be Leaf fried egg and Field Roast Chao cheese.
Still a long way to go

It doesn't taste like bacon. It just doesn't. I will admit it does have a note that hints at bacon but that's it. And yeah, I've tried it all: "raw" as it comes out of the box (nigh inedible), lightly fried with little grease added, and fried crispy with lots of extra grease. None worked too well.
Very good

Almost tastes too meaty
Thought it was real meat...
From Anonymous of Los Angeles, California on .
I ordered a vegan BLT at Sea Ranger Seafood Station (vegan restaurant) in Ventura. We took it to go. And later, after a couple bites, I swore up and down that it was meat. We even called the restaurant back; but they assured us it wasn't meat. They added that they get calls all the time from people thinking it was meat. It was very good and I was impressed by the quality of the "vegan bacon" but I still prefer a good smoked tempeh version of the sandwich.
