Amazing!

I recently went vegetarian and not having bacon has been killing me. This product is truly amazing and I will recommend to everyone I know
Best bacon alternative!

I have tried quite a few, even made my own, but this is the best bacon alternative I have found yet.
So Good!

These are so good! I used them to make a BLT and also shredded some up for a salad. The perfect smoky flavor. My only complaint is that some of the strips were cut too wide to make crispy so they were a bit too chewy for me.
Best by far

Awesome taste and can cook them up as crispy as you like.
YAY!

Finally a fake bacon that tates good and gets crispy when you fry it! I love this stuff! Thank you for getting it right Upton! Unfortunately my local store quit carrying it so I tried a couple others and blech. Upton's is the only bacon I'll eat unless I make it myself so I'm going to have to get it online.
So incredibly good!

This is one of my all-time favorite Vegan bacons now. In terms of taste and texture, my husband, who says bacon is the #1 thing he missed since going Vegetarian and then Vegan, says this is the closest food that has come to it--and it's all the better because it's cruelty-free! I love it with a little bit of olive oil, maybe under a minute on each side at medium heat.
Absolutely Awesome

I do not know why there are any complaints about these seitan strips. They are awesome. They have a really nice chewy texture. It seems that other people were trying to burn these to a crisp to make them crunchy. They just aren't that sort of thing. If you want crunchy bacon like flavor, bake some shiitake mushroom slices in the oven. If you want an amazing, flavorful addition to your veggie burger or something tasty for a tomato sandwich, then buy these. I'm ordering two more packages today!
Ehhh.

I cooked these in a little oil in a skillet, not sure if that is the best method, but that is what I did. I love Upton's other products but this one missed the mark for me. I did not like the texture and felt as if there was little to no flavor. Honestly, it tasted like dried bits of oil soaked cardboard to me. My dinner guest seemed to like it okay, but isn't anything good when paired with a grainy bread and avocado?
pretty good

I didn't think this tasted much like bacon, but it still makes a terrific sandwich (with some Daiya cheese slices, maybe?). I liked the texture, but it is nothing like a crispy bacon texture. Not as successful as their chorizo, maybe, but still good stuff.
It's similar to Tofurky's smoky maple bacon flavored tempeh in calories and salt if you compare equal sized servings. If you equalize with Smart Bacon, Smart Bacon has a lot more sodium in 56g than the other two, but probably has a smokier flavor.
Love the texture

I love all the Upton's products, but this and the chorizo seitan are my favorites. I don't like buying meat alternatives because I don't like meat, but these are tasty additions to a recipe and I like the heartiness of it. The pieces are thinly sliced and have a great chew.
