Works well!
From Karolin of Uppsala on .
I've found that alpha-galactosidase is the enzyme that best helps my irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Bean-zyme has helped me a lot, though I tend to use 3-5 capsules at a time (about the same dosage as other supplements with this enzyme that I tried before). I normally can't eat e g chickpeas, onions, kidney beans and broccoli without having huge issues with gas, but with Bean-zyme this works fine. It's so useful when eating out!
It is vegan!

Hello, Chris! We don't normally answer review questions here, but to note, this is a 100% vegan product that we've offered, there is NO gelatin ever listed on the version we have offered. There are 2 versions, one which is NOT vegan which is what most other retailers offer, only a few stores currently sell the vegan version, but that's the only one we've ever had, as it's 100% gelatin-free!
Really vegan?

On the ingredients list it says that there gelatin in it just like on the non-vegan version of it. On they Bean-Zyme website they do advertise it as vegan but we all know gelatin is an animal product. So does anyone have info to clarify this?

Helps me some

I've been using Bean-zyme for some time now. It doesn't completely solve the problem, but it certainly makes it better. I find it works best if I take three at a time, rather than the recommended two. The taste isn't bad. I'm glad there's a vegan version of this product that I can use.
