Big disapointment

These are dry and not very tasty. I am not impressed.

These taquitos are yummy and a good snack, but they're a little bland. Of course, you could add hot sauce or salsa, but compared with the chicken version I like these less. They're still worth checking out but not a must-try, in my opinion.
Box short of a taquito...

It was a real disappointment when I got 7 rolled taquitos instead of, as labeled on the box, 8 large taquitos. Not cool. :-(
Not a lot of flavor :(

I’m eating these right now lol and I’m a little disappointed because they don’t have much filling and the filling doesn’t have much flavor. I can’t taste a lot of “beefiness” and the detectable spices are very faint. The tortillas are good and get very crisp. For some reason I like them anyway because the crispness is satisfying and they’re good dipped in some “sour cream” mixed with a little bit of garlic, salt, and smoked paprika, but my honest rating of them is 3 stars. Maybe I got an underwhelming batch? I’m trying the chickun ones next to see if they’re any better.

Wonderful flavor! You can let the tortillaa get as crisp, or not, as you prefer it. Vooking times are not specified - we found the cooking time can be varied so you can experiment for the result you prefer"one of us liked the taquito less well toasted with the filling more moist, the other liked it toasted darker, with the tortilla dark and crisp. Our microwave burned out recently, so we used the conventional oven. These are microwaveable so you can do your own taste test with this! A terrific appetizer, of course, however, we made a meal of them: we had a meal of two taquitos each which went marvelously with steamed broccoli and a spritz of lemon and sliced tomato with a drizzle of olive oil-red wine vinegar-cracked black pepper-mustard powder-lemon juice dressing. We wished we had ordered additional Starlite Cuisine creations!
