perfect for "chicken" salad nostalgia
From f of New York, New York on .
I use the teany cookbook (outdated but still adorable) recipe for "chicken" salad when I have an intense yen for that specific mayo-riffic picnic food taste. better than bouillon no chicken is a great way to season. this stuff is also really easy to throw into soups, etc.
Simple, Good Value

This is probably the cheapest "meat" money can buy. It's unflavored TVP, you rehydrate by adding boiling water, and then you can flavor it away. Great value, and good substituted for ground beef/taco meat/sloppy joes etc if properly seasoned.
