I am back because we have received our new order of these marvelous strips. I reiterate my review of 09//20/16 -- our enthusiasm and appreciation stand! Use the broth for soup, or added it to the casserole you make with these strips! The sky is the limit with ways to use these strips -- and you can make casual recipes or elegant super-creative concoctions. Cedar Lake Chik'n Strips is worthy of any recipe. Highest recommendation - if you have a few cans on hand, you will always have a great meal nearby!

Golly! You will want to make these a staple for when you want to arrange a great meal for unanticipated guests or when you want to experiment with spices and new dishes! These are terrific! Look up any recipe you can think of prefixed with "veganize." For example, "veganize chicken sticks." You will want to get creative because you will want to incorporate these into salads, pot pies, casseroles, stir fries,,,,AND: do NOT discard the broth in which these strips are packed. USE it in any of the myriad ways you would use broth -- see online for suggestions! I used it in soup, with some added water, with organic baby bok choy, organic baby rainbow carrots, organic parsnips. I wanted to add organic leeks but the shop did not have new ones at the moment but you could add them -- they are great in soup! This broth is wonderful! You can also use it on nonstick surfaces for stir fry instead of oil...anyway, do not discard it! A wonderful product all around!!!

These are pretty good. My 5 year old who eats faux meat regularly but is not a vegetarian seemed to like them. I had them in stir fry and wasn't in love, but rather thought they were decent. As a previous reviewer stated, they probably would be very good in pot pie. I should try that next time.
essential is right

...providing you can ever get them! I've been able to get them ONCE in the last few MONTHS. (So 5 stars for the food, no stars for the availability...).
