An Old Favorite

I have been using these soaps since the early '80's (yes, they've been around that long!). They are one of the original glycerine soap bars, and IMO, one of the best if not THE BEST.
They smell wonderful, look cool, get you clean and are non-allergenic. I can't use most soaps because of the itching and runny eyes they cause. These soaps never do that to me.
As far as lather goes, sure, you have to rub a little harder and use more water than other soaps. Big deal. They do 'run out' pretty fast though: about a bar/month/person I'd say.
Highly recommended! And VeganEssentials is a great site! :)
Will buy again!

I've just used up my first bar - cucumber- and though it did melt fairly quickly, I really liked it! It has a very light scent, doesn't sting sensitive parts, and I took the slightly slippery feeling after rinsing to mean it was leaving my skin softer, so overall the price, gentleness and softness won me over!
great

lathers well with a nylon poof, leaves skin soft, doesn't cause breakouts. also can be melted and poured into molds for great gifts. smells heavenly.
drying in cold weather
From Jen of Leominster, Massachusetts on .
This stuff is a great price for vegan soaps. I've never had a problem with it not lathering up but it does dry the heck out of my skin during the super cold winter months I experience. Otherwise, it's a great product (I love the fresh Rainforest scent) that has been designated as my "warm weather soap"
Work fine - disappear fast
From Anonymous of Haverford, Pennsylvania on .
This is one of the cheapest vegan soaps available, and it works fine - smells okay, doesn't dry skin out, and leaves no residue. (How much are we really asking from a soap, anyway? Most work okay!) The only problem is that it melts faster than many other soaps, meaning that you pay about the same amount as you do for the more expensive brands over the course of a year. I'm not saying don't buy it; I'm saying don't view it as the incredible bargain it seems to be.
