Terrible!
From Barbara of Exmore, Virginia on .
They look good after frying in the pan. That's about all I can say that's positive. There's something in the cakes that look like little pieces of potato that are just like chewing on rubber. I looked at the ingredients to see what it might be and I have no idea. And of course when a food doesn't have much taste, add pepper - it's noticeable on the first bite and gets more peppery the more you eat. I fried two cakes in the pan - could barely finish the first one. So there's one more to eat and two more frozen in the freezer and I don't know what I'm going to do with them.
excellent substitute

Fried in olive oil, great texture and taste! Just wish they didn't come wrapped in plastic.
Super good!!!!

Very tasty, love the texture and the taste. If you do like it, you're doing it wrong.
Great When Pan Fried
From Searles of Grand Prairie, Texas on .
I've been looking for something like this for a few years. I once lived in the Chesapeake Bay area for years and these are as close as I've ever found to being an actual crab cake. I sauteed mine in butter and was surprised. Next time, I may use some Old Bay Seasoning and garlic butter to spice them up a bit. I am also looking forward to perhaps making a Crab Etouffee with these as a base. Now, that the products are being sold online, the taste explosion will continue!
Great with Peas, Fries, and Sophie's other fishy alternatives
From Anonymous of Houston, Texas on .
The look a bit pale and weird, but the texture and flavor is good. None of us really like real sea food, but since I'm always looking to support gluten-free vegan food and companies that make alternatives for people like my family, I figured "Why not?! The Toona is pretty good!"
Just like I remember in my childhood, but doesn't make us feel weird and gag like real fish or crustaceans often do.
