So Delicious!
From Kaitlin Aulakh of Lynden, Washington on .
My husband (from India) is allergic to milk, and when we first came to the U.S. I wanted so badly for him to share cheesecake with me, but he's allergic to milk, so I found daiya at the grocery store... and I have tasted it myself, even though it is not really cheesecake, it is better according to me. We add some cherry pie topping on it, so good. I also love how it is not overly sweet. Every time he asks for a slice... I sneak one for myself.
Tastes too salty

it's too salty. The texture, sweetness and other factors are very good. It's just too salty.
Best Cheesecake Ever!!!
From Anonymous of Port Angeles , Washington on .
I have Celiac Disease and decided to pick this up. I was nervous at first that this would taste too much like coconut or just not be that good, but boy oh boy my expectations were not even close. This is the best cheesecake I’ve ever tried. I don’t know how they do it, but this cheesecake tastes like a real New York cheesecake. It doesn’t taste gluten-free, dairy free or soy free which is amazing. I will continue to repurchase now that I have tried this delectable dessert.
Pleasantly Surprised
From Anonymous of Placerville, California on .
I’m a breastfeeding mom with a 3 1/2 month old with food allergies to milk, soy, and highly suspecting gluten. I was ecstatic to find this cheesecake and very pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture. Not only is the “cheese” part very good with the perfect texture, but the crust is amazing also with a great texture, and you wouldn’t guess it’s gluten free. I am giving this 5 stars because, I mean, you’re not gonna find something dairy free and as good or better. However, there is a less sweet after taste, it’s not bad, I just think it would be better with a cherry pie filling or chocolate (or both!) topping. I also think it’s quite pricey for not very much. I know it’s a specialty food, but it really is expensive for a very small cake, but yes, I’ll fork out the cash (no pun intended) for this delicious cake on special occasions until my son is weaned and I can add dairy back into my diet. I’m so grateful that there are companies like Daiya that create amazing, low-allergen, taste-a-like foods to those I grew up on and can still enjoy during this time.
Does NOT taste like cheesecake
From Anonymous of San Mateo, California on .
I read the reviews here for the product and decided to give it a go, since as much as I love cheesecake, I am lactose intolerant. This cake has a significant coconut flavor, which I don't mind, but it wasn't what I was going for (yes, it's in the ingredients but some reviewers said it didn't taste too coconut-y. I disagree).
