Home Again
From Subtle Beast of Savannah, Georgia on .
After I became a vegan, during the Holidays, the one thing I missed most was a great Kringle, or any Kringle really. I ordered every year from a bakery in Wisconsin and it was one of the highlights of the season. I always wondered why no one could do one for vegans because the substitutions should have been easy. But no one did. Then, to my genuine surprise (I don't get surprised by much), I saw them here, on VE. I immediately ordered FOUR different flavors and waited. The longest five days of my life perhaps but after five days, they finally arrived. Packaging flew, dogs were frightened, wrappings were quickly unwrapped and then I grabbed at the Kringle with my bare hands and bared teeth and tore off a piece and shoved it in my mouth and closed my eyes and began chewing and then ..... I was home again. Thank you Larsen Bakery! You did it.
good for a change

Nice to have an alternative from the limited local vegan bakery options. I am not a big sweets eater. It was sweet but not over the top. I microwaved heated it up just a couple seconds upon delivery to have a bite and it was a nice treat. Next day at room temperature should be flakier. Especially nice to be able to freeze and pull out before company comes.
Heavenly!

Delicious, flaky (in the best way!), sweet, but not too sweet. We've ordered twice and the Danishes haven't lasted more than a day {wink} Highly recommended!
