Buffalo Sausages

Field roast does some thing REALLY well (corn dogs) and some not so well. These fall into the latter.
First, these are their sausages, sliced on an angle. Visually disappointing. I'd have thought that what ever machine extrudes the vegan product, could be programmed to spit out more of a drumstick shape.
Next the sauce was less spicy and more vinegary. Not a deal breaker but I've had better and would have thought they'd use the best sauce they could, for fake wings.
Lastly the after taste was very processed, even overshadowing the vinegar of the sauce.
Won't buy these again.
Nice Change of Pace

Love this product and love this brand! These "wings" are made using Field Roast "sausages,"so they are a nice change of pace from regular vegan wings. They have a light and tasty breading, and the sauce they come with is nice and spicy (which is great for me, since I usually always have to add extra heat). I've never had a bad Field Roast product. Ever!
Sausage covered in hot sauce

These do not resemble chicken wings. They are in the shape of a cut up sausage and upon tasting them, my suspicion was confirmed. I’m assuming the company makes vegan sausages and threw on some wing sauce and called it wings. Extremely oily and unappealing in texture. A hard pass

These are delicious! Since they're made from the Field Roast Sausages, don't expect them to taste like chicken wings, except for the sauce. I have not tried frying them. They are perfect from the oven.Spicy,and satisfying. They're perfect for those days that you want something that is healthy; but doesn't taste healthy.

They are salty and spicy and nothing like chicken wings, but the sausage texture is wonderful and the sauce is super flavorful if you like spice. They are my new favorite--delicious!

i hated the sauce, but the little vegan chicken pieces were great. nice chewy sort of coating after cooking in the oven and coating with the sauce.......which was bad, but i’m going to try dipping them in, or coating them with a plain bbq sauce this time.

My husband and I are obsessed with these. Savory and salty. The included buffalo sauce pairs perfectly. We use the Follow Your Heart blue cheese dressing as a dipping sauce. I’ve been vegan for 5 years and he’s been vegan for 3 months and we both think these are delish. Way better taste and quality than Gardein. Soy free 👌

Me & my wife love these, i never ate wings before being vegan, so i cant compare but i do know that i love these!
Super Salty!

The "wings" themselves are just battered slices of their apple and sage sausage, which is absolutely delicious but doesn't really give the effect of "wings" like perhaps Gardein has been able to do. The sauce is also breathtakingly salty, I was so sad I dressed all of my "wings" in it without tasting it first. I actually had to throw half of the package away because it was so salty (and I LOVE salt). Would have been much better just dressed in some Frank's Red Hot. Would try again but definitely without the sauce packet.
