Better than expected
From Anonymous of Indianapolis, Indiana on .
I purchased these to cook at home for my daughter's boyfriend who typically eats meat hot dogs. I personally haven't had a hot dog in over twenty years so I had no idea what to expect. I sautéed them in olive oil on the stove top, then placed them in a toasted organic wheat germ bun, then topped them. I served them to a group of twenty-something boys that normally eat meat and they DEVOURED them! I made one for myself as well, and WOW, DELICIOUS! Well done Field Roast 👏
Not the same

I used to love these. Last time I was disappointed. Seemed more rubbery which made it really unappetizing.
Best veggie dog I’ve tried

I don’t like the Field Roast sausages, so I was skeptical of these, but they are by far the best veggie dog I’ve tried so far. Good texture and flavor and no weird aftertaste. They’re even good without covering them in chili. I cooked them on my indoor grill and topped with mustard and relish. Getting them out of the casing is a bit of a pain, but worth it.
Delicious

These taste great, by far the best vegan franks/dogs I've had. Not sure what Ron Cohen from Narrowsburg, NY is talking about - the package clearly says 540 mg of sodium per frank. That's about the same as, and in fact a bit lower than, a meat hot dog. Probably not something that's going to be good for anyone to eat for every meal but that's not how most people eat hot dogs anyway, right?
SODIUM BOMB!!
From Ron Cohen of Narrowsburg, New York on .
Ridiculous amount of sodium in each frank. Over 700 mgs!!
Extremely unhealthy. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
