I bought this to add to my mashed potatoes and add cheese flavor like I did pre-vegan. This was very bland and really added no cheese flavor at all. Quite a disappointment.
Distinct Onion Flavor

This has a distinct onion flavor to me so much so that I couldn't really taste any cheesiness. It was more gravy like and less creamy.

My 4 year old son has sever food allergies, including dairy. We tried this and it is by far the best non-dairy mac'n cheese we have had so far...he loves it...and I actually think it taste very good!! Thank you for selling this! :-)
like a white cheddar

It is a good base, but needs a little help. The directions say 3 tsp to 300 ml of water or rice milk. However that is too watered down. If you are using 300 ml of liquid you need 10 tsp of this mix. Then it thickens up and tastes similar to a white cheddar. I've added nutrional yeast, salt, pepper and vegan parm to it to make it to my taste.
