Amazing!
From Cheryl Seguin of Franklin Grove, Illinois on .
The best vegan fried egg on the market. The flavor is subtle like a real fried egg. I prefer to pan fry them with vegan butter but recommend using the Country Crock Plant Butter or similar. Earth Balance butters don't have the same rich real-butter flavor. Fried egg-like texture is on point. The only complaint is that they're a bit hard to separate. Recommend!
Yummy vegan eggs

The best way to cook this product is with Himalayan black salt ground very fine. This brings out the ‘eggy flavor and is close as you are ever going to get with a vegan fried egg. I fry it on both sides around two-3 minutes-.You know when it is done when the “yolk” starts popping up as it would with a regular egg. Also for storage purposes-Once unthawed -try putting the dry ice that is sent with the package. Insert it inside the package on the bottom preventing rapid deterioration. I change the dry ice every few days to keep the product fresh. I personally love this product !!!
On the fence

Where are the instructions? My husband put this item in the fridge instead of the freezer when we got our shipment. There are no storage or cooking instructions- it doesn’t even say keep frozen on the package. A week or so later, I noticed that the package was full of liquid which prompted me to look up the storage and cooking instructions on the Be Leaf website. I decided to cook a couple in case they were going to go bad. I’ve never eaten fried eggs before, but this doesn’t have a huge egg flavor to me. I added some Kala Namak salt which helped. I liked them, didn’t love them. I do think I over cooked them a bit, so I will try again, but I may or may not order again.
Not bad

Terrible!

I was so excited to try these, especially after all the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't even make it through the first one and ended up throwing it away. It looks NOTHING like the photo after you cook it. The "yolk" gets cooks to almost a hard boiled egg consistency, definitely not an "over easy" type of fried egg as they show in the photo. The texture is a gross rubbery consistency, and the flavor made me gag. Did NOT taste anything like an egg to me.
There are NO instructions on how to get the darn things separated from their frozen stack other than thaw them first. Well, I didn't want to thaw the whole package, not knowing if it can be refrozen without affecting the product. I painstakingly got them separated with a knife and cooked one up. I didn't even have them on the heat for as long as they said (3 minutes on each side) and they were almost burned at medium heat after less than 2 minutes.
