Texture kills it
From Melissa of Biloxi, Mississippi on .
I was very excited to eat these! I haven’t had beef in years, but I can promise you this shouldn’t have the audacity to be labeled Beef anything. It’s mushy and the flavor is almost exactly like soy/tofu. You’d have to mask this with something of strong seasoning or sauce to maybe give it flavor.
delishous

I love these and I use them in so many dishes and they never disappoint, they work so good as chopped steakless bits in dishes, love them!!!!!
The best beef-not

These are my favorite from Gardein. I bake them in my toaster oven for 10 minutes and they are perfect.
Great baked in toaster oven

Surprised to see people having trouble with mushy or disintegrating Gardein beef tips. I have always just baked them on a pan all by themselves in a toaster/convection oven and have never had that problem. I eat them by themselves.
Maybe you should cook them first in a little oven or pan before adding to your more complex concoctions?
Just found a bag buried in my big freezer, have no idea how old they are but I’m eating them!!!
