I added green pepper and onion. Texture never browned even though I had it in oven longer than in directions. Bland. Would not but again. May be good for sloppy hoes starter.
Too Much Pepper!

Too much pepper in the mix! If you're a pepper lover, I'm not, you'll like it. It cooks well and looks just like the picture and makes a large portion. I froze some and it freezes well. It's a shame they have to put so much pepper in it!

This is better than "real" meatloaf!
From Jav & Christy of Miami Beach, Florida on 7/2/2004.
Wow, it's like an old fashioned homemade meal. We made ours in the microwave and the edges got all crusted up, just like in the oven. My husband and I ate leftovers for 2 days and we still have half the mix left! The texture is perfect and if you make it with your normal meatloaf recipe (i.e. raisins, onion bits, tomato sauce, etc...) it's even better! I suggest anyone try this, you'll be surprised.
