What Happened Sjaaks?
From Brenda Marie of New York, New York on 5/31/2011.
I used to be a fan of Sjaaks - having tried many of their products. Now either vegan sweets have come a long way and I have had much better since or Sjaaks has slipped. Most of them had kind of a burnt taste or aftertaste - the caramel filling. The chocolate is not rich and the fillings overall dissapoint. With the burnt taste - I think that quality has slipped. Overall I will stick to other products...They were passable and edible - but I will not buy again.

I REALLY like these. I have tried a number of chocolates from this site, and these chocolate nut chews are one of my favorite items. Some vegan chocolates tend to be too sweet for me and give me a sugar hangover. But these fancy chocolates are just right for me - plenty sweet, but the 'buttery' richness of the caramel balances it out well. They are pretty highly caloric, but definitely a nice once-in-awhile treat.

My absolute favorite! I used to love Snicker bars and these bite-sized pieces really satisfy my craving for nuts and/OR caramel dipped in yummy chocolate!
Pretty darn good
From Brenda Marie of New York, New York on 4/9/2009.
These chocolates are pretty good. I know it is supposed to be a mix of nuts and chews but it is mostly caramels with 1 crunchy nut thingy and 1 nut cluster. I love caramels so no problem - but it should be a bit more even for most people...that is why I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5.Sjaacs chocolate is usually pretty good. And the caramels in here are good. Thick and chewy! Yummy!

I liked these a lot. It's too bad that they are so pricey and difficult to find.
