I have been wanting, for many years, to veganize the "magic cookie bars" recipe that used to be on cans of Eagle condensed milk. My grandmother always used to make them and I just wanted some of that nostalgia back. But I could never figure out what to substitute the condensed milk with. Enter this condensed coconut milk! I tried out the old recipe and it was fabulous! Just like grandma used to make! Be forewarned though that this can is only a little more than half the size of the dairy counterpart (I just cut my recipe in half), and may need a little stirring due to separation, but it tastes delicious. And it's soy free if you avoid soy like I do or have a sensitivity.

I haven't used traditional condensed milk much, but from what I remember, this has that same thick, creamy consistency. I put a spoon in my coffee and it was fabulous. I also tasted it on the spoon and it's just like a thick icing. The ingredient list is amazing and doesn't contain palm oil. When you open it, it's creamy -- but give it a quick stir for anything settled at the bottom. I love this product!
