Made in a dedicated allergen-free facility, these bars are 100% vegan and are safe for those who must avoid dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts and tree nuts as well. 1.4 oz. (40g) bars are $2.49 each.

I would give this bar between three and four stars if I could. You caught me in a good mood, so I'm rounding up. The good news is that it's not waxy or excessively sweet. It doesn't contain hydrogenated oils or other nasty fillers to compromise its taste, mouthfeel, or quality. The cocoa butter flavor isn't terribly pronounced. Neither is the vanilla. In fact, most of the flavor of this bar hits as an aftertaste. (albeit a fairly pleasant one, mind you.) Upon first bite, I did notice a distinct lack of the creaminess one would expect from a white or milk chocolate. This makes sense, given that the bar does not contain any type of vegan milk solids. I look forward to experimenting more with this bar. Based upon the ingredients list, I suspect it is temperable, which would be huge for vegan chocolatiers. Its unobtrusive flavor would end itself well to showcase subtly-flavored fillings.
