i cant give it a 5 but it is decent. if you really wanna give a meat eater vegan jerky i'd go with louisville.
These taste and smell almost exactly like Slim Jims. So if that's what you're after, your search is at an end.
I picked these up the other day and I ate it in two sittings. I never wanted to try vegan jerky because I was skeptical but I was really wanting it one day and oh my god, I'm so glad I picked it up. It's great. There's nothing more you can say. It really tastes like jerky and it shreds like it too. HIGHLY recommend. It doesn't get better than this.
I did not intend for two reviews to appear so close together -- Jan 9 and Jan 14. I believed that the first review I posted had been somehow lost! We loved Sam's Harvest Jerky so much, however, that the double-barrel review is totally appropriate!
Could not stop noshing from the bag. So good: wonderful firm but chewy texture and hearty and delicious flavor: the texture and taste worked beautifully together. This jerky would be delicious in a sandwich or a wrap. We never got that far...If we wanted to experiment with ways to enjoy this marvelous jerky, we would have needed to have more on hand! As far as I'm concerned, Sam's Harvest is jerky perfection.
