Why would anyone need animal meat jerky with
this incredible soy alternative? This 100% non-GMO soy jerky is
made from pure defatted soy flour, but has the chew and taste of
the jerky you remember. Gone are the nitrates and animal residues
(sterols, growth hormones, antibiotics, etc.) you find in real
dried animal meat. Available in 8 delicious flavors: Original Mild,
Original Wild (spicy!), Country Bacon, Spicy Chicken, Peppy
Pepperoni, Teriyaki Beef and Hot Pastrami. 1.5 oz. bags are $2.49
each, and 5 lb. bulk bags are $66.99 each. Gluten-free.
Depends on the flavor

I totally love the Original Wild...it's not kill-you spicy, but it's actually decently spicy, and the flavor is great. The texture is also reasonably meat-like (not a vegetarian here, but enjoy a good high-protein, low-carb jerky-alike). The pepperoni one is ok, spicy chicken is fine, though neither is as good as the Wild. The mild I found to be strange-tasting (it's a bit like the heat of the Wild masks the flavor, but it comes through with the mild).
No thank you

I love the Primal strips beef jerky much more than these. My roommate is a meat eater but I'm not. These were so dry and flavourless. I actually gave these to my cats and they wouldn't even touch it. You know it's bad when your cats give you the look of "Excuse me? What is this..."
Disappointed in Spicy Chicken
From Laura Posner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 2/26/2015.
The texture of the jerky is good, but the initial flavor, smell, and preservative aftertaste are not--they are indeed reminiscent of dog food. I was also disappointed to see the preservative potassium sorbate in the ingredients. I much prefer Primal Strips.

These are awesome! I especially love the Original Wild and Spicy Chickn flavors. Nice and spicy. So chewy so dry so good. Mmmmm. They're only moist after you chew them which is how I link it. These are some of the best vegan jerky out there!
Fun to eat: chewy, dense.

Pop the morsels in your mouth or toss them on top of a salad or even tuck them into a sandwich. Chewy and dense, they are fun to eat.
