Sugar free. Alcohol free. Tastes pleasant. A small amount goes a long way -- the bottle lasts. Tea tree oil is antiseptic, so you know you're getting clean. The price is wonderful. I feel wonderful about this mouthwash. I love Desert Essence which has Leaping-Bunny certification -- I use a number of Desert Essence products happily and with confidence. When this bottle of Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash by Desert Essence is empty -- actually before it becomes empty -- I will buy another. You want this mouthwash. You do not want sugar and alcohol and cruelty in your mouthwash. You do want tea tree oil and a sparkling-clean mouth and happily leaping bunnies!!!!

Been using this product a few days now. Glad I purchased it. I have used Listerene for many years now, but will no longer now that I have this Desert Essence mouthwash. Very little is needed, and it has an entirely different feel to it; not harsh at all. Also, it has a pleasant and mild after taste. I highly recommeded it.

To give a more accurate review, I am using the mouthwash while I type this review. This mouthwash doesn't burn or make me feel uncomfortable. The taste is good. It reminds me of a the way Teavanna (a tea store, chain) smells, all friendly, sweet but tangy (spearmint touch), and like a tree....I'm going to spit it out now.Funky after taste, but wow my teeth feel & look clean. Breathe check: SucsessYou should buy this.
I've been won over
From Anonymous of Okinawa, Japan on 8/23/2007.
The taste is a little odd. You have to get use to it or over it depending on your perspective. However, despite the "funny" taste my six year old niece reported, she happily continued using the product while visiting me and did not complain about not having her Blue's Clues, chemical-laden mouthwash. I think the product foams a little more than other mouthwash products I've used, but I will continue buying it because my breath is left fresh and clean. Anything with tea tree oil is also a bonus due to its natural antiseptic quality.
