Spero's The Goat tastes like real goat cheese, because it's made for goat cheese lovers! A plant-based goat cheese that tastes just like the real thing, you seriously, you won't believe it's plant-based! A mind-blowingly goaty flavor and texture, this complex and aromatic cheese pairs well with any breads, toasts, wraps, sandwiches, salads, pastas, meats, wine & crackers, and more.
Spero makes cream cheese out of organic sunflower seeds. Why sunflower seeds? They save water! (10x less than cashews/almonds/dairy)! You can finally have cheese that fights climate change AND is good for you. Their cheeses are made from real, superfood ingredients with no nuts, dairy, soy, preservatives, gums, or things you can’t pronounce. Spero cheeses are fully plant-based, paleo, and keto, and packed with 5g protein and probiotic cultures for gut health.
6.5 oz. (180g) The Goat creamy cheeses are $5.19 each.
Ingredients: Sunflower seeds, water, coconut oil, salt, natural vegan flavors, salt, probiotic vegan cultures

Ahh-Mazing
From Roya M of Los Angeles, California on .
I had to read the packaging and the ingredients repeatedly because I thought for sure this is from a goat and not vegan. I became vegan six years ago, and back in those days I recall liking goat cheese in my salad, pasta or on roasted beet. I gave up cheese for obvious reasons. I've tried many alternative cheeses, and none taste like the cheese I remember -- and that is fine. But this blew me away!
chesse good; package horrible

I wanted to make Spanakopita for my vegan son and was delighted to find Spero's creamy goat cheese. After spending about 10 minutes trying to open it, I finally used scissors to cut off the strip. I was very frustrated. The cheese is good, and. worked well in the dish, but I won't buy it again until the packaging is different. It is unfortunate.
Just right! Goof work, Spero! Kudos!

Spero calls The Goat "Alternative Goat Cheese." Yep - there are two alternatives: cruelty-driven goat cheese and cruelty-free goat cheese. Cruelty-free goat cheese is not a "substitute" for cruelty-driven goat cheese. They taste the same, however, they involve two very different life decisions. Cruelty-free goat cheese is food. Standalone food. Spero The Goat, with its tangy, earthy, tart complexity, is a great palate pleasure that you will probably not be able to resist using lavishly (this is a better-buy-two alert!). I did what I always do first with a cheese that is new to me: slathered it on a still-warm toasted bagel. Oh, my! Nice one, Spero! Kudos.
Excellent!

Very impressive! It’s definitely got that tang - tastes to me somewhere between a goat and a bleu cheese. Honestly the most different vegan cheese I’ve ever had and in a good way. I plan on trying the other flavors offered too!
