You mean soy sauce?
From Anonymous of San francisco, California on .
Tried using this vegan fish sauce when preparing a dish for my girlfriend (who is vegan). I would not recommend. It's hard to tell the difference between this sauce and regular soy sauce. Not sure what qualifies this as "fish" sauce since it does not add the complex flavor nor bold profile that makes fish sauce what it is.
Good, but not much like fish sauce
From Emily Weiland of Mankato, Minnesota on .
The flavor profile leans Japanese with definite wasabi notes. It's not as strong as real fish sauce, so you have to add more of it, so it adds more of its own flavor to dishes. Good to season rice or add some fishy flavor to stir fry but I wish it were much funkier/more fermented-tasting and a little saltier.
love it

Not only does this sub for fish sauce, it is a delicious dipping sauce on its own. I've used this in all sorts of things, but my fave is as a dipping sauce. Buy it, you'll love it.

Great product!
Exactly what I wanted

Someone mentioned that there was a new vegan fish sauce online and I found this one "Fysh", clever. I like that it has organic seaweed in it and that it adds just the right amount of flavor to my noodle dishes.
