I love these! The aroma, flavor and texture are perfect. I like these because they are not trying to be like bacon, but are tempeh strips that are pre-seasoned and ready to go in the pan. If you like tempeh and smoky maple flavor, you will probably like these.
I have been buying this in my grocery store for years and absolutely love it! It takes only minutes to cook, is vegan, and is perfect on a sandwich.
I made this by cooking it on a skillet with a little bit of olive oil. I then put it on naan bread and melted Daiya chedder shreds. Then I topped it with some just mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. It was sooooo good! I only wish I bought more than one pack of this! Now I'm buying more!
This was sooo good!! I wasn't expecting to like it because I'm not a fan of tempeh.. but I loved these they smell and taste like what I remember bacon to taste like. Obviously the consistency is not bacon-like but the flavor is! I'll be stocking up on these :)
I am a fan of Smart Bacon, but I love this bacon. I love it with vegan pancakes and tofu scramble. It's also good on a BLT sandwich or as I call it a FBLT (Fake bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich). Delicious!
