The roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce is so good! It's a little tangy, which I loved! This is one of the best sauces I've ever had, it being vegan is just a great plus!

I was so looking forward to enjoying a great pasta dish, but once I tried the watery, sour liquid in that jar, my heart sank. Not only were there little bits of cashews that hadn't been blended (ultimately making for a terribly grainy texture), the sauce didn't thicken up very much, and I had a very sad bowl of alfredo in front of me that had been mixed with other good ingredients I couldn't waste (like tomatoes and basil from my garden, which were the only things that made the dish taste good enough to eat). I felt a little sick after that meal, mainly because the strong lactic acid taste reminded me of the pungeant flavour of stomach acid when you're throwing up. I really, really wish I liked this product, mainly because the idea is so very good to have jarred and canned vegan sauces on the market, but the taste won't allow me to. I have made better vegan alfredo sauces than this, and they're not that hard to make either. I was thoroughly disappointed with this product, and I suggest potential buyers to take a little more time out of their day to create a good sauce from scratch, rather than save a little time heating up a pot of this disappointing white stuff. I hope Victoria Vegan changes their recipe one day into something good, because I really want to like this product. I just can't right now.

I can agree with others when they say that the regular alfredo sauce is watery and has a bad taste to it. Victoria's red pepper alfredo sauce is nice and thick, and has a good flavor to it! I would recommend trying it if you like a tangy sauce!

We were really looking forward to a tasty supper and this was not it! I would not buy again. This product leaves a acid taste in your mouth that does not go away until the next day! Way too acidic. :( Company needs to go back to the kitchen and get this right!!!

I bought the artichoke variety before I read the reviews. I should have never read all the negative reviews, this was great! Sure it doesn't taste like olive gardens Alfredo sauce, and had a tangy touch to it, but it complimented my butternut squash ravioli perfectly tonight. More of an artichoke lemon cream sauce than a cheesy Alfredo, but I found it rich, and not watery, but creamy after 10 minutes of saut�ing. I added some garlic and pepper because that is my taste, and I am now planning other meals that I can use this sauce in. When my none vegan husband gets in, I'm going to have him try it without telling him what it is, and I know he will love it too. If I tell him it's vegan first he won't try it, and opt for a turkey sandwich instead.
