While these were not as awful as Primal Strips, which I hate, their texture was their only redeeming quality. I was looking for something dry and chewy and I found it. But the flavor was terrible. Weak, bland, terrible smell. This jerky was not for me. I much prefer Stonewall or even Smofu. Mm now those are good. I guess I don't like when the flavor is too meaty.
I totally love this jerky!

This fantastic jerky is delicious and so much fun to pull apart and chew. I just love it to pieces. I have been vegan for over 25 years: for me this is substitute for nothing: it is simply jerky: the real thing, real food, really wonderful. I love the taste and the texture. I recommend it highly. Since all tastes are different for flavors, I suggest, well, trying all of them! Yes!!!!

This is very close to the "real thing," and I've tried just about all of the others. This is my favorite thus far. I'd give it five stars, but it's a bit pricey.

Way better vegan jerky out there. Don't waste your money on this one. Stick with Stonewall or Primal Strips.
A good tough jerky

This is similar to the more processed, chewier types of jerky. I tried both hickory and teriyaki and like the hicorky flavor more (the teriyaki was a tad sweeter than I prefer). This is a very easy snack to pack for hiking and I enjoyed the texture.
