I have been vegan for a long time and am used to proxies. This is, hands down, the grossest thing I've encountered as a vegan. It looks like at food - it is BROWN - and after a nibble i just felt...unsettled. Do not buy. Like someone else said, just stick with chickpea tuna!

I have had this several times now, prepared in different ways. I prepared it like Tuna the first time (with vegannaise & onion on bread) and it was alright. Nothing special. After that, I found myself crave it. So I had that again and enjoyed it more. Most recently, I used it as filling for vegan tacos and OMG!! So good! Should be called Vegan Helper, as it is almost exactly like ground beef! Amazing and delicious. Love it, will buy more in the future. Thank you!

Made a toona melt with this product tonight - drained well, mixed with 2 tbsp wasabi fake mayo and served with olive oil / citrusy kale and melted Follow Your Heart vegan Provolone on toasted Seeduction bread. Threw a few pickles in and YUM - such a great sandwich! Total comfort food, would eat it again tomorrow...
Oh, no, no.....

I'm vegan and used to alternative flavors but this is just plain awful. Brown, salty, NOT tuna flavored, and looks like cat food. Save your money and make chickpea tuna!

It looks and tastes more like a beef jerky (except it is moist, and oil packed), or potted meat alternative. The flavor was not bad, but it was not remotely like tuna.
