I have turned people to vegans with this cookbook. This is the only cookbook I will use when having guests over. It's great EXCEPT be warned: the recipes may require a bit more time than expected. But plan ahead my friends and it's worth it!
Buy it for the Samosas Stuffed Baked Potatoes recipe
From sharona dion of Fredericton, New Brunswick on 8/4/2008.
This is written by the same authors as "Vegan With A Vengeance" and some of the recipes are carry-overs. But this is a great cookbook.I often worry when I buy cookbook #2 by an author, that they already published their good recipes and scramble to fill their next book. Not so with "Veganomicon". If for any reason, buy it for the Samosas Stuffed Baked Potatoes recipe.

There is not way I can recommend this book enough. There are recipes for all skill levels, from absolute beginner to advanced chef. If I can't think of what to make for dinner, 5 minutes with this book has me running to the kitchen. All the recipes I have used have turned out perfectly.
