Not for me (a picky eater).
From Anonymous of , California on .
It has a sharp, cheesy smell initially, which was exciting, but after 1 day in the fridge it developed an unappetizing, stinky smell. Kinda like expired American cheese. I'd live with it if the texture was right; Violife's cheese when melted is 'snotty'. It's runny & gooey in the worst way, and sticks to your teeth, which makes for an unpleasant mouthfeel. The way everyone talks up this brand, I expected it to be the end- all be- all.
Hands down best vegan cheese
From Anonymous of Bellevue, Washington on .
LOVE LOVE LOVE this cheese. Most Violife is good, but this is so good that I can't help but snack on it straight from the bag. It has what every other vegan cheese lacks - an authentic sharp flavor! The texture is spot on, too. I wish they would make this in slices because it would be great for cheese & crackers. I find the flavor better/sharper than even their mature cheddar slices.
Best Vegan Cheese I've Ever Tasted

I don't know how anyone could rate this cheese poorly. I've tried multiple vegan cheeses and this one is by far the best, period. I only used Violife cheddar before, but now I only want to buy Colby Jack. 10/10 the best vegan cheese flavor so far. The texture is perfectly fine. I've had this in Mac and cheese, in pasta, on sandwiches etc and it's amazing. The cheddar is nothing compared to this.
Finally!

Finally vegan Colby Jack! Colby Jack is my favorite type of cheese and this does not disappoint at all. I have used it in tamales and tacos. The flavor is great and it melts super well too. Will definitely buy this again.
Threw away, couldn't finish eating
From Anonymous of American Fork, Utah on .
It's edible if it's cold, but as soon as it is melted it has a terrible plastic aftertaste and the texture slimy. At first, it has a cheesy taste, but the aftertaste is so terrible that I couldn't finish the sandwich I made with it. I tried melting the cheese to make a Mac and cheese sauce, and it was even worse than the sandwich, I had to throw all of it away.
